How the services fit together
Assessment first, then the treatment that fits.
- Most patients start with a foot and ankle assessment, or a sports injury or diabetic foot assessment where that is the presenting concern. The assessment decides what comes next.
- Conservative care comes first: prescription orthoses from a 3D scan, gait analysis, footwear advice, and injection or shockwave therapy for pain that has not settled.
- Where conservative care is not enough, Dr Ozan Amir, Specialist in Podiatric Surgery and Centre Director, consults and operates at the clinic. Bunion, hammer toe and ingrown toenail surgery are all performed in-house, using minimally invasive technique where the case suits.
